Postecoglou emphasized the value of fully embracing moments of success, stating: “I told the boys it’s vital to celebrate these milestones properly. These memories fuel the hunger for future challenges. Yes, they’ve enjoyed the celebrations, but they’re in good condition heading into the weekend.”
However, Tottenham will be without several key players when they host Brighton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. Captain Heung-min Son and defender Cristian Romero will miss the match due to lingering foot and toe injuries respectively—issues they had been managing even during the European final.
