According to *Bild* (via @iMiaSanMia), Atlético reached out to Woltemade’s representatives on Sunday, exploring a possible deal as they consider replacements for Ángel Correa.
However, despite the growing interest, a transfer appears unlikely in the immediate term. Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle has dismissed any imminent threat of losing the 22-year-old, stating: “Nobody has contacted us. And frankly, I don’t think anyone will. We’re planning next season with Nick.” Wehrle reaffirmed that while Bayern and others are free to show interest, the player remains integral to Stuttgart’s future.
Woltemade, who can play as a central striker, second striker, or attacking midfielder, is viewed by many as a classic No. 9 in the making.
