The 51-year-old took over from Steve Cooper in December 2023 on a two-and-a-half-year contract, and while Forest missed out on a Champions League place after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Chelsea, the club still clinched UEFA Conference League qualification — their first return to European football in three decades.
When asked about his future after the final match of the season, Nuno played down personal speculation, stating, “This is not the moment to speak about me… it’s about the club and the idea for next season.”
