Wolves Launch Bold New Chapter with Domenico Teti’s Appointment as Technical Director

Wolverhampton Wanderers have kicked off an ambitious restructuring of their football operations, ushering in a new era with the appointment of Domenico Teti as Technical Director for the 2025/26 season. The club has eliminated the Sporting Director role, previously held by Matt Hobbs, in favor of a streamlined leadership model led by Teti’s expertise.

Teti brings a wealth of experience to Molineux, having shaped recruitment strategies at clubs like Sampdoria, Novara, APOEL Nicosia, Hellas Verona, and most recently Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia, where he collaborated with Wolves’ current manager, Vítor Pereira. His notable achievements include securing talents like Mauro Icardi and Shkodran Mustafi at Sampdoria and orchestrating Daniel Podence’s transfer from Wolves to Al-Shabab. Expressing his enthusiasm, Teti shared:
