AliousBrighton Confirm Signing of Title-Winning French Defender in Major Free Transfer Coup
Brighton & Hove Albion have officially completed the signing of experienced French defender Olivier Boscagli, securing his services on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven.
The 27-year-old brings significant experience and versatility to the south coast side, having featured in nearly 150 matches for the Eredivisie giants and helping them win back-to-back league titles over the past two seasons.
His ability to operate across multiple defensive positions makes him a valuable addition to Brighton’s evolving squad under new head coach Fabian Hürzeler.
Boscagli began his professional journey with OGC Nice, where he graduated from the club’s academy and made his senior debut in 2015.
After making close to 30 appearances for the French side, he moved to the Netherlands in 2019, where he became a key part of PSV’s backline.
