Across eight league appearances, Giménez has failed to register a goal or an assist, a stark drop from the prolific form that brought him to Milan in the first place. His struggles have only inflamed speculation that the Rossoneri are preparing for a major reshuffle of their attacking options in January.
Adding to the uncertainty, the Mexican international is currently nursing a persistent ankle injury that has ruled him out for several weeks.
