Crystal Palace Eyeing Move for Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson

According to reports from Football Transfers, Crystal Palace are interested in signing Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson during the upcoming summer transfer window. The Eagles are looking to bolster their attack, and Nelson, an Arsenal academy graduate, has found game time limited at his current club.

Nelson’s Arsenal Journey
The 24-year-old joined Arsenal’s youth setup in 2007 and quickly rose through the ranks, making his first-team debut at just 17 years old. After an impressive loan spell at Hoffenheim, he was promoted to Arsenal’s senior team in the summer of 2019. However, despite being part of the first-team squad for years, Nelson has struggled for consistent playing time. This season, he has not started a single Premier League game and has been on the pitch for just 654 minutes across 23 appearances.

Potential Summer Move
With his contract at Arsenal running until the summer of 2027, a summer exit is on the cards for Nelson as he seeks regular first-team action elsewhere. The report suggests Arsenal could sanction his departure for a fee around £30 million.

Crystal Palace’s Interest

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is preparing for the potential departures of attackers Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, who have attracted interest from other clubs. Should either of them leave Selhurst Park, Glasner views Nelson as a viable replacement option. While Nelson’s game time has been limited at Arsenal, Glasner believes the 24-year-old possesses the qualities Palace are looking for, and the club is willing to invest in him.
