NEWS FLASH: Everton are set to step up their pursuit of Leeds United winger Jack Harrison after the Yorkshire club booked their place in the Championship playoff final with a 4-0 aggregate victory over Norwich City. City.

Everton Football Club has disclosed updates regarding the contractual status of their first-team squad members, including those whose contracts are expiring or who are concluding their loan periods.

The club is set to engage in additional negotiations with Leeds United about Jack Harrison’s situation after the Championship season wraps up. Harrison, who has been on loan at Everton for the 2023/24 season, has delivered commendable performances.

The winger has participated in over 30 matches for Everton in various tournaments, netting three goals in the league.

He is scheduled to return to Elland Road shortly and will not be involved in Everton’s last game of the season against Arsenal.

In addition to plans for Harrison, Everton has also confirmed that team captain Seamus Coleman and fellow defender Ashley Young will be offered new one-year deals. Moreover, the club has activated an option to prolong midfielder Idrissa Gueye’s contract until the following summer.

Andre Gomes and Andy Lonergan are set to depart from Everton after their contracts conclude at the end of June, while Arnaut Danjuma will go back to Villarreal following his loan term.

Dele Alli, an attacking midfielder whose current contract is nearing its end, will stay with Everton during his recuperation from a persistent groin injury.
