JUST IN: QPR Eye Stunning PSG Raid as Leeds United Join Pursuit

Championship side are surprisingly being linked with an ambitious move to sign Ethan Mbappe, the 17-year-old brother of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe, according to reports from French media outlet Le Parisien. The London club is named alongside Borussia Dortmund and Ajax as potential suitors for the young French midfielder, who made his senior debut for PSG last December.

While Ethan Mbappe operates in a deeper midfield role compared to his world-famous sibling, the prospect of securing the services of a player from the prestigious PSG academy is an intriguing one for QPR. However, reports suggest that the teenager may prefer to remain in France, with Ligue 1 side Lille emerging as frontrunners for his signature.

In other transfer news, Watford’s pursuit of Celtic’s highly-rated Irish youngster Rocco Vata may have hit a roadblock. The 19-year-old, who has made six senior appearances for Celtic this season, was previously linked with a move to Vicarage Road as talks over a new contract at Celtic Park appeared to stall. However, the Daily Record now reports that Celtic are keen to tie down Vata and fellow academy graduate Daniel Kelly to long-term deals, with their “best offers” already on the table.

Meanwhile, Leeds United have reportedly made inquiries about the availability of Borussia Dortmund right-back Marius Wolf, should they secure promotion to the Premier League by winning the playoff final against Southampton. The 28-year-old German international, whose contract with Dortmund expires this summer, is also attracting interest from clubs in Italy, Spain, and Saudi Arabia, according to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg. Wolf made 21 appearances across all competitions for Dortmund this season.
