“Everton’s Bold Transfer Move: Could Juventus Midfield Maestro Arthur Melo Be Heading to Goodison Park?”

According to reports from Gazzetta Dello Sport, Everton are considering making a move to sign Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite being deducted 10 points for breaching financial rules, Everton comfortably secured Premier League safety, highlighting the impressive work done by manager Sean Dyche. However, the summer window will be crucial for the Toffees as they need to address their ownership issues and provide Dyche with proper backing in the transfer market.

Everton may need to sell some of their star players to fund new arrivals, with Jarrad Branthwaite attracting interest from top Premier League clubs and Newcastle showing interest in Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Toffees appear to be in the market for a new midfielder, having been linked with Benfica’s Florentino Luis, and now Gazzetta Dello Sport suggests Arthur is also on their wishlist.

The Italian newspaper reports that despite an impressive loan spell at Fiorentina, the Serie A club cannot sign Arthur permanently this summer. Napoli and West Ham are also keen on signing the Brazilian, but Everton have made an approach and inquired about his availability.

If Everton offloads the highly-rated Amadou Onana, they will be forced to sign one or two quality midfielders. Arthur’s time at Liverpool was plagued by injuries, but he has been superb for Fiorentina this season, making 47 appearances across all competitions. Known for his passing ability and ability to dictate the tempo, Arthur could bring a new dimension to Everton’s midfield.

While his stint at Liverpool was a nightmare, the 26-year-old midfielder might find success playing for the blue half of Merseyside if Everton can secure his services this summer.
