JUST IN: “Manchester United Plot Blockbuster £100m Double Swoop for Everton Sensation and Crystal Palace Star”

Manchester United are reportedly confident they can secure a £100million double transfer for Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise, according to talkSPORT.

TalkSPORT’s website reported on Wednesday (29 May) that Everton might be forced to lower their asking price for Branthwaite to around £40million due to financial troubles.

Crystal Palace is believed to value Olise at £60million following his standout season, and Manchester United believe they can sign both players.

United’s primary target this summer is a new centre-back following the confirmed departure of Raphael Varane and the expected exit of Jonny Evans.

Is Manchester United’s ambition realistic?
It seems optimistic for Manchester United to think they can acquire Branthwaite for £40million. While Everton’s financial issues might necessitate player sales, they will likely hold out for a higher fee to alleviate their financial problems. Sean Dyche will be keen to retain Branthwaite but will push for the best possible offer if a sale is necessary.

Similarly, it’s uncertain if Palace would agree to let Olise go for £60million. Furthermore, the players themselves may be hesitant to join United amid the club’s current uncertainties.

While United’s interest in Branthwaite is serious, a £40million bid seems unlikely to succeed.
