Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Archie Gray reportedly has no intention of leaving the club during the summer transfer window—even if Spurs are relegated from the Premier League. Meanwhile, sources have also revealed that Tottenham’s ownership group ENIC Group is already considering a move for a promising forward from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tottenham are currently facing the possibility of a major squad overhaul if they fail to avoid relegation at the end of the season. The north London club sit just one point above the drop zone after losing their last five league matches.

According to transfer insider Graeme Bailey, Gray is among several players whose future at the club had been uncertain amid Tottenham’s struggles.

However, a report from SportsBoom claims the 19-year-old has reassured the club that he will not attempt to force a move away—even if Spurs drop into the Championship.

The England youth international, who previously impressed for Leeds United in the second tier, is said to be willing to stay and help the club rebuild should relegation occur.

Gray joined Tottenham in 2024 for around £40 million and, despite being a natural midfielder, has shown his versatility by playing as both a right-back and centre-back.

Interest in the teenager has been strong across Europe. Real Madrid have reportedly been long-term admirers, while clubs such as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the youngster. Despite this attention, Gray appears committed to remaining at Tottenham for the foreseeable future.

Tottenham Eye Wolves Prospect Mateus Mane

While Gray’s loyalty will be encouraging for Spurs supporters, the club is also planning potential summer additions. According to reports, Tottenham have identified Wolves forward Mateus Mane as a key transfer target.

The club is believed to be considering a move for the 18-year-old attacker, although their chances of completing a deal could depend on whether they remain in the Premier League.

Interestingly, Wolves themselves are also battling relegation, meaning both clubs could face uncertainty heading into next season.

Tottenham reportedly believe Mane might favour a move to north London over interest from clubs such as Manchester United or Liverpool FC because he could receive more regular first-team opportunities at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

However, securing the highly rated youngster would not be straightforward. The forward—valued at around £50 million—has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Arsenal FC, Manchester City and Chelsea FC, as well as German sides such as RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund.

Other Tottenham Transfer Developments

Elsewhere, hopes of a sensational return for former Spurs striker Harry Kane appear to have faded, with reports suggesting the forward could remain at Bayern Munich on an improved contract.

Tottenham are also reportedly open to selling defender Cristian Romero this summer as part of a potential squad reshuffle.

In another transfer-related development, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham played a key role in facilitating Arsenal FC’s move for defender Piero Hincapié.
