Everton are in advanced negotiations with Marseille for the acquisition of their attacking talent.

The Toffees aim to strengthen their squad during the current transfer window, and discussions with the French club have been positive.

Marseille is open to the transfer, provided the terms meet their expectations. They’re seeking a loan deal with a mandatory purchase clause.

While Everton has made significant progress in agreeing to terms for Ndiaye, some details still need to be finalized before the transfer can be completed.

The Merseyside club is eager to conclude the deal swiftly, potentially bringing the ex-Sheffield United player back to the English game.

Although Crystal Palace expressed interest in Ndiaye, particularly after losing Michael Olise to Bayern Munich, Everton has been more proactive and appears to be the frontrunner in securing his services.

Ndiaye, aged 24, had a productive season with Marseille in Ligue 1, featuring in 30 matches and contributing three goals and five assists.

Prior to his stint in France, he impressed in the Championship with Sheffield United, netting 21 goals in 76 appearances.
