The Toffees have hit the ground running this transfer window, with two signings already secured and a third imminent. Now, reports suggest they’re setting their sights on a pair of Manchester United players.
Having already brought Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa and re-signed Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds, Everton are close to finalizing a deal for former Sheffield United forward Iliman Ndiaye.
According to talkSPORT, Everton are among several clubs interested in Aaron Wan-Bissaka, whose Manchester United contract expires in a year. While Galatasaray has reportedly agreed personal terms with the right-back, a fee is yet to be settled with United.
TEAMtalk sources confirm Everton’s concrete interest in Wan-Bissaka, with the club closely monitoring his potential move to Turkey.
Manchester United, looking to raise funds, may be willing to part with Wan-Bissaka for around £12.5m.
At Everton, he could vie for a starting position with aging veterans Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young.
The report also suggests that Everton manager Sean Dyche admires United’s center-back Victor Lindelof, who has been given the green light to leave Old Trafford.
With his contract also expiring in June 2025, Lindelof could be available for less than £10m this summer, attracting interest from several clubs including Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
TalkSPORT speculates that Lindelof could potentially replace Jarrad Branthwaite at Everton, though negotiations between the clubs are not yet advanced.
Meanwhile, Manchester United may revisit their interest in Nice defender Jean Clair-Todibo.
While Premier League clubs are keen on Lindelof, TEAMtalk sources are unclear about Everton’s involvement in the race for his signature at this stage.
