PALACE IN CRISIS: “The Shocking Truth About Their Key Star’s Future Hangs in the Balance!”….GMS

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Crystal Palace are determined to retain their talented midfielder Eberechi Eze, despite reported interest from several Premier League clubs this summer.

Jacobs informed GIVEMESPORT that, contrary to recent rumors linking Eze with Arsenal and Tottenham, no club has directly approached Crystal Palace regarding the 25-year-old player.

Jacobs suggests that Palace are anticipating a challenging transfer window, expressing concern over potential player departures.

Alongside central defender Marc Guehi, Eze could be among the next significant players to leave the club, following Michael Olise’s recent move to Bayern Munich.

This situation could pose difficulties for Palace manager Oliver Glasner, who may need to undertake a substantial team rebuild if top-flight clubs pursue his key players.

However, Palace’s position is somewhat protected by Eze’s reported £60 million release clause, which Jacobs believes both Arsenal and Tottenham are unlikely to activate due to the high cost.

Despite the interest, Jacobs indicates that Eze isn’t actively seeking a move away from Palace at this time.

However, he notes that the allure of increased wages and European football from clubs like Tottenham or Arsenal could be tempting for the player.

Eze’s impressive performance last season, contributing 11 goals and six assists, helped Palace secure a 10th-place finish in the Premier League.

His form also earned him a place in England’s Euro 2024 squad.

There are indications that Tottenham could be frontrunners for Eze’s signature, with manager Ange Postecoglou reportedly admiring the player.

Additionally, Eze shares the same agency as Postecoglou and several Tottenham players, potentially facilitating negotiations.

In a separate development, Crystal Palace are reportedly considering re-signing their former winger Wilfried Zaha, who left for Galatasaray last year.

West Ham and Wolves are also said to be interested in the 31-year-old.
