In a conversation with Betfred, Cole expressed his view that Branthwaite’s worth is determined by the agreement between the two clubs. He stated, “If Everton demand £70 million and Manchester United agree to pay it, then that’s his value. It’s straightforward.”
Cole highlighted Branthwaite’s qualities, noting his talent as a left-sided centre-back – a rare commodity in football. He praised the young defender’s performance for Everton last season and his potential for improvement.
The former United star also predicted a bright future for Branthwaite, suggesting he could become a regular in the England national team. Cole emphasized Branthwaite’s role in helping Everton avoid relegation and reiterated his belief in the player’s promising career ahead.
