JUST IN: Wilfried Gnonto’s Leeds United Exit Tied to Crysencio Summerville’s Future! Journalist Dan Bardell Reveals Shocking Twist in Transfer Saga! #LUFC #Gnonto #Summerville #TransferNews

Dan Bardell suggests that Wilfried Gnonto’s future at Leeds United is closely tied to Crysencio Summerville’s potential departure.

Fabrizio Romano reported on July 22 that West Ham has made an initial offer for Summerville, who was named Championship Player of the Year.

Meanwhile, Everton is reportedly preparing a bid for Gnonto, according to Caught Offside on July 17.

Bardell, speaking to MOT Leeds News, believes Leeds might delay any decision on Gnonto until Summerville’s situation is resolved. He states, “I think to lose both would be a blow.

The longer it goes on, the better chance Leeds have of keeping Summerville, as the level of club he wants would have moved earlier in the window.”

Bardell suggests that if Summerville stays, Leeds might consider selling Gnonto for £15m-£20m to raise funds.

He emphasizes, “I think Gnonto’s future is directly tied to Summerville.”

Gnonto’s performance in the Championship last season was modest, with eight goals and two assists in 39 appearances.

Selling the 20-year-old could provide funds for manager Daniel Farke to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.

However, if Summerville leaves, Gnonto’s importance to Leeds would increase significantly.

Should Summerville move to West Ham or Stade Rennais, the transfer fee could potentially cover the cost of finding a suitable replacement.

Ultimately, the decision regarding both players may be influenced by factors beyond Leeds United’s control.
