AliousEverton is persisting in their efforts to sign Hellas Verona defender Jackson Tchatchoua, despite having an initial €8 million bid rejected.
According to Corriere di Verona, the Toffees are actively pursuing the full-back and are keen to finalize a deal.
Tchatchoua only recently joined Hellas Verona permanently for €2 million following a successful loan spell from Charleroi last season. Everton has already made a move, offering €8 million plus €2 million in bonuses.
However, Verona rebuffed this proposal, setting a new asking price of €10 million plus bonuses.
The gap between the two clubs’ valuations is not substantial, and Everton continues to push for an agreement.

However, Everton may face competition from French club Rennes, who are also showing concrete interest in Tchatchoua.
