AliousStockport County, a newly promoted EFL League One club, has announced the acquisition of Tayo Adaramola, a Republic of Ireland U21 international with Nigerian heritage, on their official website.
Adaramola has joined the Hatters on a season-long loan deal, seeking more playing time.
He is the third player of Nigerian descent to leave Crystal Palace on loan this summer, following Owen Goodman and David Ozoh, who moved to AFC Wimbledon and Derby County respectively.
The signing of Adaramola is considered a significant achievement for Stockport County, as they successfully competed against both domestic and international clubs for his services.
The dynamic fullback spent the latter half of the previous season on loan at Belgian club RWD Molenbeek, where he made 14 appearances in the top division.
Adaramola made his Crystal Palace first-team debut as a substitute in an FA Cup victory over Hartlepool United in February 2022, followed by his first start against Stoke City in the next round.
Having been with Crystal Palace since the U12 level, Adaramola joined the club after playing for youth teams at St Kevin’s Boys and St Mochta.
Born in Dublin, Adaramola will now team up with Isaac Olaofe at Stockport County.
