Former Spurs player Chris Waddle has voiced his support for the potential move, praising Eze’s talent and suitability for Tottenham’s style of play.

He believes Eze would be a great addition to the team and would be appreciated by Spurs fans.
However, despite the ongoing interest, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that no formal offer has been made to Crystal Palace.
Romano also notes that Tottenham has been in contact with Eze’s agent since February, but they face competition from other top Premier League clubs.
The transfer situation is complicated by Crystal Palace’s desire to retain Eze and the nature of his release clause.
According to Ben Jacobs, Palace would only consider letting Eze go for £60 million, paid upfront rather than in installments, as part of a gentleman’s agreement.
