EXCITING NEWS: Sarr’s Arrival at Palace Softens Olise Blow and Sets Up Exciting Season” Signaling Ambition that Could Make Eagles Top-Six Contenders

Crystal Palace has finalized the signing of Ismaila Sarr from Marseille for approximately £12.6m. The 26-year-old Senegalese winger returns to England after a year in France, signing a five-year contract with Palace.

This marks manager Oliver Glasner’s third signing of the transfer window.

Sarr’s arrival helps bolster Palace’s attacking options following Michael Olise’s departure to Bayern Munich.

He joins Daichi Kamada, who arrived on a free transfer from Lazio, as Palace’s second attacking reinforcement this summer.

Palace has reportedly been interested in Sarr for some time, following his four-year stint at Watford.

Known primarily as a right winger, Sarr can also play on the left or centrally, offering versatility to Glasner’s attacking lineup.

Upon signing, Sarr expressed his excitement about joining Palace, praising the club and committing to work hard both on and off the pitch for the team and fans.

He mentioned being attracted by the project presented by the coach and sporting director.

Glasner welcomed Sarr, highlighting his Premier League experience from his time at Watford and his goal-scoring ability demonstrated at various clubs and for the Senegal national team.

This signing follows Glasner’s successful first season at Palace, where he guided the team to a top-ten finish after replacing Roy Hodgson.

With a few more quality additions, Palace could be a team to watch in the upcoming season.
