UNBELIEVABLE VALUE: “THE £60M PRICE DROP! Everton Set to Sign ‘Thrilling’ Talent at Unbeatable Value”

Everton Initiates Talks for Former £73m Player, Now Valued at £13mEverton is in discussions to add another player to their roster, following four summer signings already.

Kevin Thelwell, Everton’s Director of Football, has been active this transfer window.

He’s secured deals for Tim Iroegbunam, Jesper Lindstrom, Jake O’Brien, and Iliman Ndiaye, while also overseeing the departures of Amadou Onana, Ben Godfrey, and Lewis Dobbin.

According to Tuttosport, Everton is now in talks to sign Arthur Melo from Juventus.

The Italian club is keen to offload the Brazilian midfielder, who they acquired from Barcelona for £72.5m in June 2020.

Leicester City is also interested in Arthur, whose contract with Juventus expires in two years.

Arthur spent the previous season on loan at Fiorentina, following a brief stint at Liverpool where he made only one appearance.

Despite limited playing time, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp described Arthur as an “exciting” player.

His familiarity with Merseyside could influence his decision between Everton and Leicester.

Juventus is reportedly seeking £12.5m for Arthur’s transfer.

While Sean Dyche’s tactical approach typically emphasizes strong defense, crosses, and set-pieces, Arthur could introduce a more possession-based style to Everton.

Lionel Messi once compared Arthur to Xavi, praising his ball control and passing ability.

Statistics support this, with Arthur ranking in the top 4% for pass completion and top 24% for progressive passes in Europe’s top five leagues.

This potential signing could bring a new dimension to Everton’s play, making it a situation worth monitoring as talks progress between the clubs.
