The Glaswegian still has over 12 months to go on his current terms – which expire in July 2027 – but is ready to sign an extension.

Since his £8m move from Bayern Munich to Everton back in July, the Morocco international has endured a miserable time, with Moyes failing to give him a single second of Premier League action.
Aznou recently deleted all mention of Everton from his Instagram in what was a telling sign he is fed up at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and that was before the Guardian released the news about a new contract for the 62-year-old.
So, upon hearing that the man who consistently overlooks him is set to stay at Everton even longer, the 19-year-old is surely planning a summer escape route from Merseyside.
European football would potentially open the door for Aznou to play at Everton, with more fixtures set to be on the schedule next season if the Toffees stay in the hunt to qualify for a UEFA competition.
Having said that, Everton are targeting Myles Lewis-Skelly to bolster the left-back department, so it doesn’t sound as if the Toffees have any plans to promote Aznou to a more prominent role.
