AliousLargie Ramazani has shared a message with Leeds United fans on Instagram following his transfer from UD Almeria.
The 23-year-old became Leeds’ fifth summer signing on Thursday, agreeing to a four-year contract.
He’s expected to fill the void left by Crysencio Summerville and arrives for a fee just under £10 million including add-ons.
Former Leeds defender Jason Pearce, who briefly coached Ramazani at Charlton Athletic’s youth academy, has praised him as one of the best talents he’s seen.
Ramazani’s signing has lifted spirits among supporters after a 32-day lull in transfer activity.
In his Instagram post, Ramazani expressed his excitement and pride in joining Leeds, saying he’s eager to get started and meet the fans.
His arrival is expected to be followed by three more signings before the transfer window closes.Leeds are still looking to strengthen other positions:
1. Left-back:
They’re seeking cover for Junior Firpo, with Liverpool’s Owen Beck linked.
2. Central midfield:
An attack-minded number eight is desired. While Dejan Ljubicic seems unlikely, Manchester United’s Hannibal Mejbri is a possibility.
3. Attack:
To replace Georginio Rutter, Leeds are considering several options including Roland Sallai, Ilan Kebbal, Manuel Benson, Calvin Stengs, and Manor Solomon.
Ramazani’s positive attitude during his first day at the club and the warm farewell from Almeria suggest he’ll be a quality addition both on and off the pitch for Leeds United.
