GUEHI TO SAY GOODBYE TO SELHURST PARK? “Manager’s Admission Raises Questions About Star’s Future”

Oliver Glasner remains uncertain about Marc Guehi’s future at Crystal Palace amid Newcastle United’s interest.

The transfer saga continues as Newcastle has yet to agree on a fee with Palace, despite an earlier reported deadline of August 24th passing.

Guehi started and captained Palace in their 2-0 loss to West Ham, playing the full 90 minutes for the second consecutive match.

His performance was notably poor for West Ham’s second goal.

When asked about Guehi’s future, Glasner was non-committal, stating, “You never have any assurance until the window ends.

I don’t know what will happen.”Newcastle faces defensive challenges for their upcoming match against Bournemouth, with Fabian Schar suspended and Jamaal Lascelles injured.

This might lead to Emil Krafth playing as a center-back alongside Dan Burn.

If Newcastle’s defensive weaknesses are exposed against Bournemouth, it could strengthen Palace’s position in negotiations as the transfer window nears its close.

Glasner’s refusal to guarantee Guehi’s stay at Palace leaves the situation uncertain as the transfer deadline approaches.
