“It Has Finally Happened” Leeds United Finally Gets Their Most Wanted Man 2Years Back for an ‘EXCLUSIVE’ Deal of ……”

Leeds United is on the verge of completing two significant signings as the transfer window nears its close.

The club is set to welcome Japanese international Ao Tanaka from Fortuna Dusseldorf and is close to securing a deal for Isaac Schmidt from St. Gallen FC.

Tanaka, expected to be Leeds’ seventh summer signing, has arrived at Leeds Bradford Airport for a medical and to sign a four-year contract.

The midfielder, known for his stamina and goal-scoring ability, is set to fill the void left by Glen Kamara’s departure to Rennes.

Tanaka’s international experience, including a controversial goal against Spain in the 2022 World Cup, makes him an exciting prospect for Leeds.Simultaneously, Leeds is nearing an agreement with St. Gallen FC for versatile full-back Isaac Schmidt.

This move addresses the team’s need for defensive depth, as they currently have limited options in that position. Schmidt’s ability to play on both sides of the defense provides valuable flexibility.

The potential Schmidt deal, reported to cost around £1 million, combined with Tanaka’s £3.4 million transfer, means Leeds could strengthen two positions for less than £5 million total.

This efficient spending could allow the club to pursue a marquee signing before the window closes, with attention possibly turning to a number 10 position.

These developments come after Leeds’ unsuccessful attempts to sign other targets, including Gustavo Hamer and Philip Billing.

The club’s strategic approach to the transfer market aims to bolster the squad comprehensively while managing their budget effectively.
