AliousLeeds United is on the verge of completing two significant signings as the transfer window nears its close.

This move addresses the team’s need for defensive depth, as they currently have limited options in that position. Schmidt’s ability to play on both sides of the defense provides valuable flexibility.
The potential Schmidt deal, reported to cost around £1 million, combined with Tanaka’s £3.4 million transfer, means Leeds could strengthen two positions for less than £5 million total.
This efficient spending could allow the club to pursue a marquee signing before the window closes, with attention possibly turning to a number 10 position.
