WOW! Jamie Carragher for the first time CONFESS the Obvious to Back Everton regarding Premier League…… The Toffees fans in SHOCK over what he said

Everton have looked like a completely different side since David Moyes returned to Merseyside in January.

It has been an outstanding campaign for the Blues under the 62-year-old, and there is still plenty at stake as they push for a place in European competition.

Moyes’ impact has not gone unnoticed, with former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher praising the job he has done.

Everton are reportedly working on a new contract for Moyes, with his current deal set to expire in just over a year.

The Toffees have made significant progress this season, and Carragher highlighted just how impressive Moyes’ return has been during a conversation with Manish Bhasin.

He said:
“Look, if Arsenal go on to win the league, I’d give it to Mikel Arteta, especially considering how long it’s been and the competition from Manchester City and Liverpool. It hasn’t been easy for them.

“But Keith Andrews has done a great job, and David Moyes deserves credit as well. Those are the names that should be in the conversation.”

Since Moyes’ return, only Arsenal have recorded a better away record than Everton.

Everton emerging as one of the season’s surprise teams

While supporters may have expected some level of improvement under The Friedkin Group, few would have predicted a genuine push for European qualification at this stage.

Moyes had set his sights on a European finish as early as the summer, but expectations were not particularly high that Everton would meet that target.

After years of struggle on Merseyside, this season has represented a dramatic turnaround for the club — with Moyes playing a central role in their resurgence.
