Then there’s Cristian Romero. Like Van de Ven, his form has been inconsistent, and recent off-field comments involving his family have raised questions about his long-term commitment to the club.
Others unlikely to stay
The potential clear-out doesn’t stop there. Loan signings Randal Kolo Muani and João Palhinha have failed to make a strong enough impact, making permanent moves highly unlikely.
