Treatment lasted for around five minutes, highlighting the seriousness of the clash. Kinský was eventually able to continue playing, though he did so with a heavily bandaged head, showing clear signs of discomfort after the impact.
However, the situation appeared far more concerning for the centre-back, who struggled to carry on and was eventually forced off the pitch in tears, raising immediate fears about a potentially serious injury. His emotional exit added to the tension of the moment, with teammates and staff visibly concerned as he headed down the tunnel.
Speaking after the match in his post-game press conference, manager Roberto De Zerbi admitted that the club did not yet have a clear understanding of the severity of the injury. He explained that further assessments would be required over the coming days and in the next matches before a full diagnosis could be confirmed.
“We don’t know yet, we have to see in the next game, in the next days,” Roberto said. “I hope for us it’s not too important problem, because he’s a crucial player for us. He’s a good guy, a good player, a top player, big personality, and we need him to finish the season and to achieve our goal.”
When asked specifically whether the issue might be related to the defender’s knee, Roberto remained cautious and refused to speculate, adding: “Maybe, yes, but I don’t want to say anything, because I don’t know.”
The uncertainty surrounding the injury now leaves the club anxiously awaiting medical results, as they hope one of their key defenders has not suffered a setback that could rule him out for a significant period during a crucial stage of the season.
