A Randal Kolo Muani is reportedly confident about sealing a return to his former club after a difficult spell at Tottenham Hotspur, and has already made his intentions clear to both Spurs and his previous teammates.

It has been a miserable campaign for Tottenham, who have crashed out of all competitions and are now battling relegation, sitting just one point above the drop zone.

Kolo Muani, who joined on loan from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, had hoped to leave during the January window amid the club’s struggles, but ultimately remained for the rest of the season.

A summer departure now looks inevitable. His loan deal does not include an option or obligation to buy, and with just one goal in 23 Premier League appearances, Spurs are unlikely to pursue a permanent move.

According to reports from Tuttosport, the striker is keen to return to Juventus—where he previously spent time on loan—and has already communicated that desire internally.

Juventus are said to view him as a strong option to lead their attack, and he could be available for significantly less than last summer, when they unsuccessfully attempted to sign him on a permanent basis.

Juventus leading the race

While PSG are not planning to keep Kolo Muani long-term, he is expected to return to the French club briefly once his Spurs loan ends.

Tottenham, for their part, are also ready to part ways with the forward, making a return to France his immediate next step.

However, Juventus remain the frontrunners. The Italian giants have continued to monitor his situation closely and are hopeful of finally securing his signature in the upcoming transfer window.

Tottenham transfer updates

Elsewhere, Andy Robertson is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, with Tottenham emerging as a likely destination after previous interest in January.

Spurs are also targeting Giorgio Scalvini as part of their plans to reinforce the defence this summer.

In addition, both Tottenham and Leeds United are reportedly keeping tabs on James Trafford, the Manchester City goalkeeper, ahead of a potential move.
