AliousAccording to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have reached a full agreement with Liverpool’s Andy Robertson. The left-back is expected to join Spurs this summer—provided the club avoids relegation from the Premier League.
Romano also provided an update on Marcos Senesi. Tottenham are currently in serious danger of dropping to the Championship, with only five matches left to save their season.
There was a glimmer of hope in Saturday’s draw against Brighton, as Xavi Simons delivered a man-of-the-match performance and produced his best display yet in a Tottenham shirt.
On the transfer front, Spurs have also made progress. A deal has been agreed “in principle” with Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi, who will become a free agent at the end of the season.
In his latest YouTube video, Romano explained that while Senesi’s move still has a few details to be finalized, the Robertson transfer is much further along. “Robertson is set to join Tottenham if they stay up in the Premier League. According to my information, there is already an agreement on everything between Robertson and Tottenham.”
Romano added that neither player will officially sign until Spurs’ top-flight status is confirmed. Still, it appears Tottenham have lined up their first two summer signings without spending a transfer fee.

De Zerbi Confident Tottenham Will Avoid Relegation
Roberto De Zerbi has called on his downbeat Tottenham players to rally, insisting they have the ability to win all five of their remaining Premier League matches this season.
Despite Tottenham’s players looking drained at the final whistle against Brighton, the Italian manager said he actually feels more optimistic about survival after securing his first point since taking charge—against his former club.
West Ham currently sit one point above 17th-placed Tottenham heading into Monday’s trip to Crystal Palace. But De Zerbi backed his squad to beat Wolves, Aston Villa, Leeds, Chelsea, and Everton to avoid the club’s first relegation since 1977.
“I’ve always believed in the quality of these players,” De Zerbi said.
“They played a good game. I think we can play better than we did today—with more quality and more composure, especially when we have the ball. But right now, we need this spirit, this attitude, and this mentality.
“It’s not over yet. We have five more games. It’s tough. Every one of us knows this is a difficult moment and a difficult situation. But we have five games left and 15 points to play for.
“This team is capable of winning five matches in a row. I know it’s hard to hear my words right now, but if you look at the players and assess their level, I truly believe we can do it.
“I’m not trying to be arrogant—especially not now—but we have more than enough quality to fight and win consecutive games.”
